NANDA Nursing Diagnosis Definition

Nanda nursing diagnosis « disposition to improve coping is defined as: valid assessment pattern of stressful factors with cognitive and/or behavioral efforts to manage demands related to well -being, that can be reinforced.

As it is a diagnosis of well -being, an etiology is not needed (for example, related factors). If there are situations that involve a risk for effective coping, use ineñcaz coping risk. Use the diagnosis for individuals, families or communities, as appropriate.

  • Help identify the usual reactions in different situations
  • Identify the areas in which the patient wants to improve their coping
  • Identify relaxation techniques that have been useful in the past
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of relaxation techniques
